La France divisée en ses Principaux Gouvernements Avec toutes les Routes de ce Royaume, dressée sur les observations de Mess.rs. de l'Académie des Sciences, dédiée et présentée au Roy. Paris, 1782. Fine original colour.
An uncommon map of France published seven years before the French Revolution of 1789, with a finely engraved title cartouche celebrating the achievements of the monarchy. Down the sides are a large plan of Paris and 15 smaller inset plans of the other cities of the country with a brief description. France is divided into the old comtés and the post roads are marked.
