A superbly-detailed sea chart of the Channel Islands and Normany, with the coast of England from Budleigh Salterton in Devon, past Portland and the Isle of Wight, to Portsmouth and Hayling. The lighthouses are marked with colour. The paper used here is of exceptional quality.

A rare, locally-printed map of Guernsey, with bright original hand colour, which is unusual for the period. Down the side is a text panel listing 'Objects of Special Interest in Natural History', with 53 names under 'Conchology' and 16 under 'Botany'.
