A very detailed Spanish sea chart of part of the south coast of Cuba, between Trinidad and Rio Jatibonico. Drawn up in 1803 by Captain José del Rio Cosa, this chart was originally published 1805 and this example was issued c.1860.

Detailed chart of the north coast of Cuba, around Cayo Romano. Of particular interest is the sheer number of depth soundings taken on the Grand Bahama Banks, the shallow limestone platforms so dangerous to shipping. The lighthouses are marked with colour.
