Two-sheet map of France, with a decorative title cartouche in the lower sheet. Although the map shows the old counties there is a list of the new Republican departements. Published in Cassini's 'Nuovo Atlante Geografico Universale', which was not a success, so his maps are uncommon.

A detailed chart of the Bay of Biscay from Ushant to Cape Finisterre in north west Spain, published during the French Revolutionary Wars, when the British were attempting to blockade French ports. Less than a month after publication the Third Battle of Ushant (known more dramatically as the 'Glorious First of June') was fought as the Royal Navy attempted to stop a vital convoy of American grain reaching France. Although the British dominated the battle, capturing or destroying seven ships (a quarter of the French fleet) without loss, the grain reached France, allowing both sides to claim victory.

A large and detailed map of the early stages of the French Revolutionary War, between the French and the Austrians, Prussians and British. Starting in 1792 it developed into the Napoleonic War. The map shows from Boulogne and Paris east to Luxembourg, Cologne, Frankfurt and Strassburg.

A large and impressive map of Napoleonic France at its height, encompassing the Netherlands and parts of Germany, Switzerland and Italy. A large table lists the populations of each of the departements. First published in 1811 this example has been updated to 1813. The following year Napoleon was forced to abdicate and went into exile on Elba. In 1817 the map was reissued as the 'Royaume de France'.
