A rare miniature map of Indonesia engraved by Lamberti for the 'Minchiate', the Florentine version of the Tarot, which had each card marked with an arcane symbol. The full set was published in Augusto Da Rabatta and Jean Baptiste De Baillou's pocket atlas 'Nuovo Atlante Generale'. Information on the map is minimal, but an extensive key gives the names of the various regions.

An English edition of Apres de Mannevillette's antique mapo / chart of the Straits of Bali, which in turn was based on charts from English ships. An inset shows the Bay of Ballambouang, a Dutch settlement on Java, as surveyed by Capt. Nicholas Skottowe, in the ship Royal George 1766.

A working sea-chart of the smaller Indonesian islands, divided into two: the upper section covers the Banda Sea, with Sera, and Buru; the lower section shows the Lesser Sunda Islands, including Bali and Flores. Heather specialised in supplying charts to the merchant trade, operating from the Navigation Warehouse at 157 Leadenhall Street, at 'The Sign of the Little Midshipman', a ship's figurehead suspended outside. The premises were immortalised by Charles Dicken's 1846 novel 'Dombey and Son' as the shop kept by Sol Gils: the 'Little Midshipman' was illustrated in the book.

Pair of old sea charts of the Anambas Islands, now an important area of gas and oil production. Even at this late date there is a chain on non-existant islands, although the cartographer has marked them 'poco reconocidas' (little known).
