FADEN, William. [Holland at the end of the 18th century]
A Map of the Seven United Provinces, with the Land of Drent and the Generality Lands. London, Faden, 1794. Original body colour. 725 x 550mm.
A large and detailed map of Holland, originally issued 1789. The 'Generality Lands' were parts of Catholic Flanders captured and controlled by the United Provinces. The folowing year the Batavian Republic was proclaimed, with the support of Revolutionary France.
