A stylised family tree of the Estridsen dynasty from Valdemar I the Great, ruler of Denmark 1146-1182, to Christian IV, ruler 1588-1648, with a view of Haffnia ( Copenhagen) behind. It was published in Custos's 'Atrium heroicum' (first published 1602-4), a collection of portraits of the great and good, a forerunner of 'Who's Who'.

A miniature map of Denmark. A second title appears outside the neatline. The map was published in 'Il theatro del mondo', an Italian pirate edition of the Ortelius 'Epitome' miniature atlas. A fine, large and decorative map of Denmark, from Mortier's issue of Jaillot's 'Atlas Nouveau', with fine baroque title and scale cartouches. It is based on Sanson's map, which Jaillot had redrawn on a larger scale at the request of Sanson's heirs.

A large chart of the Sund engraved by Charles Amadeus de Berey for Jaillot's 'Neptune François, but this example publshed by the French equivilent of the Admiralty, with their seal Seal and 'Prix Cinquante Sols' added. Orientated with north to the right, the chart is centred on Copenhagen, which is also the subject of the large inset detail.
