A rare miniature map of Norhtern France engraved by Lamberti for the 'Minchiate', the Florentine version of the Tarot, which had each card marked with an arcane symbol. The full set was published in Augusto Da Rabatta and Jean Baptiste De Baillou's pocket atlas 'Nuovo Atlante Generale'. Information on the map is minimal, but an extensive key gives the names of the various regions.

A very unusual map of central France marking the jurisdiction of the 'Cours des aides' (Court of Aids) of Paris, the court devoted to legal cases concerning taxes, abolished during the Revolution of 1789. Its reach extended to La Rochelle, Lyon, Dijon & Sedan, but some areas, such as Britanny & Normandy, had their own courts. The title is within an ornate allegorical cartouche.

An uncommon map of France published seven years before the French Revolution of 1789, with a finely engraved title cartouche celebrating the achievements of the monarchy. Down the sides are a large plan of Paris and 15 smaller inset plans of the other cities of the country with a brief description. France is divided into the old comtés and the post roads are marked.
