This isolario contains illustrations of most of the islands of the Greek Archipelago as well as Mount Athos, the Argolid and the Gulf of Salamis, accompanied by short descriptions. The outlines of the individual islands are similar to those of Bartolomeo dalli Sonetti's Isolario (Venice, 1485). The map of Crete is based on Boschini's earlier work Il regno tutto di Candia.
