The third block used by Munster for Scandinavia, published in the 'Cosmographia' from 1588. Copied from Ortelius it shows from Britain to the Arctic Circle, with Scandinavia, Iceland, Northern Russia, Greenland and part of North America (called Estotilant). Although the cartography of Scandinavia is an improvement a number of mythical islands appear in the Atlantic, including Brasil (just off the coast of Ireland), Friesland and St Brendain. 'Drogeo' is believed to represent Newfoundland.
