Derived from Ortelius's map of Ancient Greece, with western Turkey, in turn based upon Nikolaus Sophianos' map of Greece of around 1540. This version was engraved by Jodocus Hondius Jnr for Petrus Bertius's 'Theatrum geographiae veteris'.
