Two detailed charts of West Coast ports, San Diego and San Blas, a Spanish naval base in Baya California. Although they were published in the 'Atlas de Voyage de la Pérouse', the account of the voyages of Jean-Francois de Galaup, comte de La Pérouse, in the Pacific, 1785-88, the charts are based on surveys made by Juan Pantoja y Arriaga, a Spanish captain of the Manila trade.
