18th century map of the Persian Gulf

A map of the Persian Gulf from Basra on the Tigris to the Strait of Hormuz. The Persian coast is well mapped and, inland, the ruined city of Persepolis is marked. The Arabian coast is laid out in considerably less detail; the Qatar peninsular is absent although there is an appearance of 'Gattar'; Bahrain is shown, called 'Is.
