A fine map, orientated with north to the right, published in the 'Atlas Contractus', a two-volume atlas, published two years after Jansson's death by his son-in-law, Jan Jansson van Waesbergen. It is decorated with ornate cartouches for the title & scale, two armorials, compass roses, a figure of Neptune & galleons in the sea.
