A town plan of Milan in the form of a bird's-eye view, based on Braun & Hogenberg but updated with a 73 point key, from Steudner's 'Beschreibung von Städten'. Upper right is the 'biscione', a grass snake eating a child, the arms of the Visconti family and the city. A good impression of a rare map.
