Giacomo Franco's map of Cyprus, first published in 1597 and again with text by Giusseppe Rosaccio the following year, here republished in Alfonso Lasor a Varea's 'Universus Terrarum Orbis Scriptorum calamo delineatus'. Nicosia is marked, illustrating the star-shaped defensive walls of the city.
