A panoramic view of Geneva from the north, drawn by Antoine Chopy after a painting by Robert Gardelle (1682-1766), a Geneva-born painter known for the speed that he completed his portraits. Engraved by J.G. Seiller, the view is usually found in Jacob Spon's 'Histoire de Genève. Rectifiée & augmentée par d'amples notes'. This example, printed on thick paper, lack binding folds, so appears to be a separate issue.
