Wear to folds, pinholes in corners.

A detailed map of the environs of Saigon (now Ho Chi Minh City) by a lieutenant of artillery for the use of the French colonial army. As the map has been copied using a heliographic process (laying the original on light-sensitive paper and placing it under a strong list light to transfer the image), it would not have been commercially available. Some of the print has been overwritten in ink mss as the original printing was weak, especially in the title area.
