A bird's-eye map-view of Paris, with buildings shown in profile.
The map had a very long publication history, from c.1867 to 1950. This example has been updated to show the buildings of the Exposition Universelle of 1878 (at which the completed head of the Statue of Liberty was displayed), replaced by the Eiffel Tower in 1889.
