It begins at L'église de la Madeleine and heads east along the Boulevards de la Madeleine, Capucines & Italiens, turning into Boulevards Montmartre, Poisonnière, Bonne Nouvelle, St Denis & St Martin, then turning south-east into Boulevards du Temple, des Filles du Calvaire and Baumarchais, ending at the Place de la Bastille,
