The Balearics with an inset chart of Mahon Harbour

The Balearics, with insets of Mahon Harbour and a chart showing their position to the Spanish coast. At first glance it looks like a re-issue of Seutter's map of c.1730, which would not be surprising as Lotter was his son-in-law and successor. However the plate is larger and the plan of Mahon Harbour is larger and updated, especially concerning the defences. It is likely that it was published during the Seven Years' War, when the English lost Minorca to a combined Spanish & French fleet.
