Map of the St Laurence and the scarcely-recognisable Great Lakes, designed for traders. The borders are full of information about tribes, animals, birds, etc. Much more interesting are the list of animal pelts that the Indians traded and their current value, including beaver, fox and wolf, and what the Indians would take in trade, including needles, guns, tobacco and 'Beaucoup d'eau de Vie' ('A lot of Brandy'!).
