A large and detailed antique map of Ireland after William Petty, with the major roads marked. The two title cartouches feature characters from Greek mythology: in the title are Pan. Demeter and Hermes; in the scale cartoche are Perseus riding on Pegasus to rescue Andromeda from Cetus the sea-monster. A very fine example
