A map of the Republic of Genoa showing the whole Ligurian region from Sarzana to the East to Nice to the West, with the title cartouche incorporating the city crest held up by two griffins. It was published in the first French Appendix (new maps not in the previous edition of the Mercator atlas), three years after its first appearence.
