A map of the Holy Land, orientated with north to the left and divided into the Twelve Tribes, prepared by the French Jesuit Philippe Briet (1601-68) and engraved by Henri de Roy.(1575-1651). Above the map are inset maps of Syria with Cyprus, classical town plan ofJerusalem and the route of the Exodus.
LAOR: 130, incorrectly stating the map appeared in Briet's 'La Terre Saincte en six cartes'.
