A finely-engraved bird's-eye view of Venice, with much detail: the important buildings, shown in profile and named; the course of the Grand Canal, with the Rialto Bridge; and various galleons and galleys, including a galleon beached for repair, and the Doge's barge.
Engraved in 1635, the plate had a very long life: Moretto records much later states with considerable re-engraving, one with buildings erected in 1813!
MORETTO: Venetia, 69, first state and also no, 200 for later states.
